The Bugatti, owned by Peter and Merle Mullin and Rob and Melani Walton, is just one of three cars known to exist and came to the concours from a special display within the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California.
Arizona Car week saw 3,486 vehicles cross the block with $259.8 million achieved in total sales - the second largest overall sales figure in the sales week’s history. According to Hagerty, the average sale price was down substantially, from $115,729 to $89,601, but the difference was made up by a greater number of cars sold, a 12 percent increase over the previous year’s number of cars crossing the block.
